Is Me…

That cat right there, that’s me. I want to be the cute little plant up front, but no, I’m the cat crawling into the paper bag in the background.

It’s been a hard year and then some, and I think I’ve made the most of it without dropping too many balls, so I’m not going to be overly judgmental on myself.

Accomplishments:

  1. I’ve completed Draft 4 of my adult epic fantasy last month. For the first time I got to the end and it actually felt like an end of a fully cohesive story. I’m aware of a few more things I’d like to fix up but I’m letting rest now.

  2. I have begun Draft 1 of the second book in the series, part of which is already written because of the process I went through with Book 1. I’ve figured out the plot points I need to hit and am steadily working my way forward. First drafts are always the most painful for me.

  3. Started a Podcast with Anne R. Bailey, a historical fiction writer whose books can be found at Inkblot Press. We met through our community writing group when everything went online. She’s a font of knowledge and experience that I am so happy to have in my life.

Fallen by the wayside…

  1. I have completely fallen of my social media. I feel awkward posting pictures of my cat all the time .

  2. This website. Today I just decided I need to get to organised properly and published. I am ridiculous that I’ve left it unfinished, almost like I expect myself to back out of this path I’ve put myself on. Well, that’s not allowed. I will complete this project, there is no turning back after all the work I’ve put into the first book.

There’s no going back, this the beginning of the no turn back. This book series will get finished and will be self published and then I will move on to the next story.
